About Us
The Boone Foundation is a partnership of alumni, parents, and community members who have organized to provide needed funds to enhance the academic programs at Boone High School. It is a qualified 501c3 organization, so all contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation board is currently made up of alumni of classes from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.
The Foundation is committed to supporting the staff, faculty, and students at Boone. We pledge our moral and financial support to improve, enhance and supplement the facilities, equipment, programs, instruction, and capacity of Boone and its students and staff to provide greater educational opportunities for the students and the community.
Since its inception in the mid-90s, the Foundation has raised more than $300,000. All monies raised go directly back to Boone in the form of equipment, teacher grants, and student scholarships. We all want the educational experience at Boone to be the best it can be. The Foundation’s Board has set a financial goal of $20,000 for each school year. Your active support will help. You can support the Foundation in the following ways: monetary donations, equipment donations, service on the Board, and volunteering for fundraising events. Our Board meetings are held once a month.

Hello Boone Community!
As we approach the new school year, it is my pleasure to reach out to our incredible Boone High School family. Our foundation, a dedicated 501c3 organization established in 1995, is composed of passionate Boone alumni, parents, teachers (both past and present), and steadfast supporters.
This year marks a monumental milestone as we prepare to celebrate 30 years of unwavering support for Boone High School in 2025. Since our inception, we have raised close to $750,000, directly benefiting the students and staff of Boone. Our commitment is to bridge the gap between the school’s needs and the necessary funding to achieve excellence. We pledge both moral and financial support to enhance the facilities, equipment, programs, and overall educational experience at Boone.
Reflecting on the accomplishments of the past school year, we are proud to share that with funds raised from direct giving and various events such as our Casino Night and Cornhole Tournament, we were able to make a significant impact:
Purchased and sourced calculators for the math department
Supplied essential items for the agricultural department
Contributed to the orchestra department's storage project
Acquired much-needed technology for the science department
Awarded $12,000 in scholarships to our deserving seniors
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to introduce our new Friends of the Foundation program. By becoming a member of the Friends of the Foundation for as little as a $10 donation, you will receive:

Donors who give over $500 will receive name recognition in our annual scholarship award ceremony.
